The Advent Pre-Kindergarten students were cordially invited to the 22nd Annual Breakfast with Santa event. This long-standing tradition is a special way to spend one of the last days together as a group before departing for the holiday break. On Tuesday, December 19, the students showed up to school in their Sunday finest, anxious to walk across the street to the City Club to have breakfast with the big man. Upon arrival, the students were greeted with the smell of French toast, eggs, and muffins as they sat down to enjoy a meal with their fellow classmates and parents. Once the meal was over, the group headed to the Christmas tree to find Santa waiting for them. Each child had a chance to sit with Santa to tell him what they wanted for Christmas, and as it is with any Santa sighting, there was an opportunity to have their picture made with Santa. There is nothing more delightful than seeing a child have a chance to speak with Santa, so needless to say, it was a joyous occasion. After visiting with Santa, the children said goodbye to their classmates and teachers before they left for the holiday break.
